Donate to our center

As a non-profit organization of Buddhist practitioners, Namdroling, Montana relies on your financial support to bring the teachings of the Buddha to Montana. Namdroling, Montana has been blessed by many high lamas, including His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche, His Holiness Karma Kuchen Rinpoche, Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche, Khenpo Tenzin Norgay and our late Holiness’ entourage of dedicated monks. We have been asked many times by our teachers to do whatever we can to keep the doors to the Center open, and we need your support to do so.

With your help, we can continue to maintain our Temple and the property it is on, invite our precious lamas, and provide classes and other resources to help all beings on their path to liberation.

Whether you choose to become a monthly contributor, to sponsor a tsog, or to sponsor a butter lamp, you provide the essential resources that enable us to preserve the teachings of the Buddha and of our lineage masters for future generations.

Sponsorship Levels

In these financially difficult times, we know how every penny counts. Each year, your crucial financial gifts help cover our operating expenses. Please consider becoming a sponsor of our precious Center. All contributions are welcomed regardless of the amount, but monthly contributions are especially encouraged. By offering $54 a month, you will receive Khenpo Norgay’s small book entitled “Cultivating Loving Kindness” when it is published and a free Namdroling T-shirt.

Sponsor a Tsog

Namdroling, Montana performs a tsog on the tenth and twenty-fifth days of the lunar calendar (Guru Rinpoche Day and Dakini Day, respectively). On Guru Rinpoche Day, we practice Rigdzin Dupa and on Dakini Day we practice Yumka, the Queen of Great Bliss, with tosg. A “tsog” is a ritual banquet supplied by offerings of the participants. We typically bring offerings of flowers, finger foods, and non-alcoholic beverages. You can sponsor a tsog right now via PayPal. Sponsorships also make auspicious gifts, honor the deceased, create positive connections, and provide comfort and healing. We suggest a beginning amount of $50 USD. Click on the donation button below to sponsor a tsog.

Sponsor a Butterlamp

As it is said in the second chapter of the Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara, “If you wish for sublime realization, offer hundreds of lights.” Upon your donation, Namdroling, Montana will place a butter lamp on our altar as an example of the generosity associated with your material offerings of light and oil. The first perfection is the Dāna paramita which is generosity or the giving of oneself. Your generous giving helps to fulfill the wishes of our teachers to offer the community and sangha a chance to practice, study, and discover the living Dharma within ourselves. You help to provide the foundation by which we can support each other in our practice and in our lives.

You can sponsor one or more butter lamps right now via PayPal. We suggest a minimum amount of $20 USD per butter lamp. Sponsorships also make auspicious gifts, honor the deceased, create positive connections, and provide comfort and healing.

Click on the button below to sponsor a butter lamp. Be sure to include the name of the person or being you are honoring with this sponsorship.
